The Environmental Sciences & Studies minor provides introductory knowledge in several areas of knowledge, as well as the opportunity to connect the program to one’s major. For example, a typical program for a student majoring in Political Science might be: ENV 200 - Principles of Environmental Science ; POL 255 - Environmental Policy and Politics ; BIO 305 - Marine Ecosystems ; ECO 327 - Environmental Economics ; BIO 307 - Ecology ; and ENV 301 - Water Resource Management .
The Environmental Studies minor requires six courses. Minors may not enroll in the following Environmental senior capstone experiences:
Two courses from the following list of natural science courses, at least one at the 300-level or above
Two courses from the following list of humanities and social science courses
The sixth course may come from either category above.
