ANT 230 - Families in Cross-Cultural Perspective3 Credits Offered Spring This course examines concepts of marriage and family as social institutions from a cross-cultural perspective. Drawing on both classic and contemporary essays as well as in-depth ethnographic studies of families, we will examine the ways in which intimate relationships are created, understood, and enacted around the globe.
