BIO 326 - Advanced Cell BiologyFour Credits Alternate Years: Spring 2012, 2014
This course builds upon the topics covered in cell biology. It examines current models for intracellular processes including membrane trafficking, cytoskeletal function, cell signaling, the regulation of the cell cycle and differentiation into specific cell types. It incorporates material from both the assigned textbook and from current scientific literature. Students will be required to participate in analysis of assigned research articles, including a group oral presentation. Prerequisite(s): BIO 211 and BIO 212
