ECO 327 - Environmental EconomicsThree Credits Spring Semester
Topics in natural resource and energy economics and environmental regulation, include the allocation, development, conservation, and scarcity of natural resources. We study pollution control through taxes, quotas and standards using cost-benefit models as a policy guide. Types of energy resources, substitutability, conversion and the relevance of energy to economic growth is discussed. Prerequisite(s): ECO 176 .
