ECO 206 - United States Economic HistoryThree Credits Fall 2011 (not offered 2012-2013)
Basic economic analysis is used to study important aspects of the economic history of the United States. Concentration is on the period from 1830 to 1945, when the U.S. became a major industrial power. Emphasized are the development of big business, the effect of race and gender on markets, opportunities and incomes, and government policy. Crosslisted with HIS 251 . Not open to first semester students.
