This course is designed as an introduction to communication phenomena in the setting of the family. The overall goal is help you understand how, through communication, we develop, maintain, enhance, or disturb family relationships. Students will learn verbal & nonverbal skills that can help promote healthy family communication. Prerequisite(s): COM 105
