CHM 331 - Analytical ChemistryFour Credits Fall Semester
An in-depth study of chemical equilibrium in acid-base, complexation, oxidation-reduction and precipitation reactions. Quantitative chemical analysis using titrimetric, spectrophotometric, potentiometric and more is discussed in detail in lecture and performed in the laboratory including rigorous statistical evaluation of experimental data. Three periods of lecture and a four-hour laboratory session each week. Prerequisite(s): CHM 232 or CHM 244 . Fulfills the General Education Statistical Reasoning requirement.
