The Management major is offered in the Department of Management and Business Analytics  in the Meehan School of Business .

The Management major prepares students to be leaders in a variety of industries and allows them to experience a broad-based curriculum with coursework in talent and human resources management, decision making and negotiation, project management, management information systems, and operations management. Students engage in experiential learning through case studies, community-based learning projects, internships, team projects and research reports. In line with the current concerns of the business community, particular focus is placed on ethical values, the behavioral sciences and international operations. 

Students can tailor their degree to suit their career goals by selecting electives across a variety of disciplines, including marketing, management information systems, and entrepreneurship.

Complete Two Required Courses


Business Internship Program


Business majors are encouraged to participate in multiple internships throughout the course of their studies. Junior and senior business majors with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher may earn credits for participating in an internship.

Students must work a minimum of 12 hours per week for 14 weeks (168 hours total) to earn 3 credits. Students are also required to submit a professional journal or portfolio and a research paper as part of their internship.

Business majors may apply a maximum of 6 internship credits to their business degree.
