ENV 330 - Intermediate Geographic Information SystemsFour Credits Every Other Spring
This course Is a continuation of the Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) course. The course will introduce Intermediate concepts and techniques related to the theory and application of geographic information systems. The course will cover topics such as data collection, editing and digitizing, raster data and processing, spatial statistics, and advanced layout for map-making. Students will continue to explore additional geoprocessing tools using the ESRl’s ArcGIS for Desktop software platforms during labs.
