Study of the genetic, molecular and cellular mechanisms of cancer and its effect at the tissue, organ and organismic levels. Symptoms, stages and treatment options, ongoing research studies, insurance issues, and the impact of the sequencing of the human genome will be discussed. Prerequisite(s): BIO 101.
