Licensure Program: Early Childhood Education (PK-2)
The Department of Education offers a major in Early Childhood Education, which leads to initial licensure from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (Early Childhood: Teacher of Students with and without Disabilities, PK-2).
The Early Childhood Education major requires the completion of 15 courses.

Complete 12 Courses in the Professional Strand
Complete Three Courses in the Practicum Strand
Second Major or Minor
Optional Second Major: In addition to Education coursework, Early Childhood, Elementary Education, and Special Education majors may also complete a second major. This is not a requirement. Required Minor: Early Childhood, Elementary Education, and Special Education must choose a minor from the approved minor list if they are not double majoring. |
