The Sport Commerce and Culture minor requires the completion of six courses.

Students may not count more than three courses from their major towards the Sport Commerce and Culture minor requirements.

Complete Four of the Following Courses

BUS 348 - Sports Marketing
ECO 244 - The Economics of Sports
ENG 258 - Literature and Sports
PSY 323 - Sport Psychology
RST 288 - Religion and Sports
SPT 201 - Sport, Society, and Culture
Note: If more than four of the courses above are taken, then the additional courses taken may be applied as electives below.

Complete Two Electives Courses

BUS 201 - Introduction to Data Analytics
BUS 333 - Organizational Behavior
BUS 334 - Business Ethics: Moral Perspectives and Business Decisions
BUS 448 - Global Marketing
SPT 475 - Internship in Sport Commerce and Culture (only 1 internship may count toward the minor)
Note: Courses not listed above may be eligible to count towards the minor, based on topic and content, with the approval of the Program Director(s). Typically, this would involve a major sports-focused project in a course that is not overall sports-centric.
