PSY 332 - The Psychology of Public Policy3 Credits Offered Fall and Spring The study of human behavior does not stop at the end of a questionnaire. In this course, we will examine major public policy issues in the context of psychological research and advocacy. Drawing from a diverse body of research - from psychology, sociology, policy, political science, and more, we will try and grapple with two main questions: (1) Where does psychology fit into ‘the real world’, and (2) How can we inform both policymakers and the public about scientific findings?
Prerequisite(s)/Restriction(s): PSY 101 - Introduction to Psychology
