PSY 331 - Applied Developmental Psychology3 Credits Offered periodically or as needed This course emphasizes classic theories and research in developmental psychology and how they are applied to policy and practice that concerns human development across the lifespan. We will define “applied” as the ways in which theories and research are used to inform change to improve developmental outcomes. The first half of the course will introduce applied developmental psychology. The second half will explore how to use principles to enhance systems that support children and families.
