EGE 201 - Circuits I4 credits Offered Fall Formerly EGRE 201. This course covers the fundamental laws, theorems, circuits techniques, and passive and active elements. Students are also introduced to the concepts of phasors, sinusoidal steady-state analysis, ac power, RMS values, and three-phase systems. Laboratory work is an integral part of this course. Several assignments emphasize the practical aspects of the course. Students are introduced to the construction and measurement of electrical circuits and the use of electrical test and measurement instruments.
Prerequisite(s)/Restriction(s): MTH 125 - Calculus I . Beginning Spring 2025, MTH 125 may be a pre- or co-requisite.
