SOC 407 - Seminar: Social Movements3 Credits Offered Fall Social movements allow the voice of the powerless to be heard. This course will analyze the evolution of social movements. It will examine barriers to success and conditions that support movements. By looking at historical and contemporary movements, students will be able to understand important concepts in the study of social revolution.
Prerequisite(s)/Restriction(s): SOC 101 - Introduction to Sociology and one additional SOC course Core Curriculum Attribute(s): History and Social Science
