SOC 405 - Seminar on Public Sociologies3 Credits Offered Fall Public sociology-sociological research that emerges from dialogues with publics-is both one of the oldest and newest topics within the discipline. This course will examine how sociologists can connect with publics, explore methodologies and concepts, study global public sociologies, and identify ways to promote public sociology.
