SOC 328 - Community Organizing: People, Power & Change3 Credits Offered Spring Covers theoretical frameworks and practical skills necessary to identify, recruit, and develop leadership, build community around that leadership, and build power from that community. The reflective practice of the course is structured around work in an organizing project (e.g., youth, community, electoral, union, or issue) designed to achieve a real outcome by semester’s end.
