ANT 233 - Language and Culture3 Credits Offered Fall This course is an overview of linguistic anthropology and sociolinguists, focusing on the relationship between language, culture, and society. Students will explore the nature of human language by studying language in a variety of social contexts with the goal of better understanding how language and culture interact to reflect, maintain, alter, and create the social worlds in which we live.
