HIS 271 - World History I3 Credits Offered Fall This course examines the history of humanity from the emergence of our species to the early modern era. Explores how and why humans shifted from nomadic hunting and gathering to settled agriculture societies creating cities, states, and empires. Examines the consequences of this transition for human societies and the environment.
