BUS 443 - E-Commerce and Entrepreneurial Strategies

Spring Semester

The course discusses e-commerce including the process of buying and selling goods, services and managing information over networks primarily using Internet technologies to manage various business processes. It emphasizes the managerial rather than the technological approach.  The course describes major advantages, limitations, and risks and the topics include B2C, B2B and intra-business applications for both large and small businesses.  It also covers major considerations for entrepreneurs and small business owners when choosing and using technology.

Prerequisite(s)/Restriction(s): BUS 340 , and Sophomore standing.
