EDU 225 - Learning to Teach IIOne Credit Fall Semester
A series of six evening seminars facilitated by Stonehill faculty and professional education practitioners. EDU 225 will focus on administration and governance – i.e. the decision-making process within middle schools and high schools. Topics will include: missions statement and philosophies; Massachusetts DESE and U.S. Department of Education; school committee, school board, and board of trustees superintendent and principal and legal issues. Course also requires 20 hours of pre-practicum field experience plus completion of an electronic work folder. Prerequisite(s): EDU 125 .
