This class studies the diverse genres of Latin American music as they developed from the complex fusion of indigenous music and culture with African and European music. Colorful Latin American music is known for its vibrant rhythms and provides and important key to understanding Latin American cultures and peoples.
Students will attend live concerts and field trips.
