GENH 140 - Honors Critical Encounters – HistoryThree Credits
Fall Semester
An introduction to the study of history through documentary evidence and historical writing. Emphasizes key goals and questions, including: “What is History?” and “Who Owns History?” In this course students develop an awareness of primary sources, historical perspectives, historiography, and competing interpretations of crucial events.
